Winnie has been with us for just a few years. She was underweight and in poor condition when she arrived. She had also lived all alone after losing her only horse friend, which was very hard on her. Horses are herd animals and they need to have the companionship of another animal. As a result she is now quite attached to her pasture mates and prefers to always have them in sight. Thankfully Winnie was easily able to regain weight and return to health.
