Volunteers are the lifeblood of Old Friends Canada. We couldn’t do everything we do for the horses in need in our community and beyond without them. Whether you are experienced with horses or just learning about them, we have meaningful ways you can help. We’d love to welcome you to our family of volunteers.

Our essential morning volunteers help with:
- 9 AM feeding routines
- Basic health monitoring
- Paddock cleaning and maintenance
- Water bucket cleaning/filling
- Morning safety checks
Keep our residents comfortable with:
- 4 PM feeding schedules
- Basic health monitoring
- Evening wellness checks
- Final daily care routines
- Evening safety checks
Support our community engagement by :
- Fundraising events
- Community open houses
- Educational programs
- Tours for the public
- Tack sales
Simply complete the application and we will be in touch about our next orientation. We will give you a tour of our facility, you can meet the horses and members of our team. You will learn more about our mission, our safety protocols and finding the role that best suits you.
